Translation blogs: what does your top 5 list look like? 31

Silvina Jover-Cirillo (author of Lingua Franca Weekly)  brought another translator blog to my attention this morning, in the discussion for “Twitter for translators?”

There are a lot of translation-related blogs out there. Which ones do you follow? If you had to list your top five, blogs which are active and which you find useful or interesting to follow as a language professional, which would they be?

    • Это называется – “себя не похвалишь, ходишь как оплеванный”…

Sorry for my Russian but Andrey will certainly understand it…

  1. Hi,

I started my own translation-related blog. As a translator / interpreter, I regularly post topics about events, reviews of dictionaries, practical aspects of my everyday life as a professional. (Romanian language)

Thank you for considering including my blog.

  2. Good day everybody! I’m happy to have found this site. The articles here are really interesting and helpful. Besides, it’s great to see here Russian names. I wish all my colleagues success in their work!
I started my blog describing the work of a translator on oil&gas projects and from time to time I add there some musings on technical aspects and everyday life of a translator working for several months on a pipelaying barge. Please be my guests:

  3. I do not know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else encountering issues with your site. It looks like some of the written text on your posts are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them as well? This might be a problem with my browser because I’ve had this happen before.
